Dr. Baldo Marinovic presents a fascinating insight into the importance of krill to the oceanic ecosystem.
Join us on Thursday, July 30, for a live presentation at the Boat Works Auditorium at Hopkins Marine Station, 120 Ocean View Boulevard in Pacific Grove. The doors open at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7pm. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Baldo served as a research biologist and lecturer with the Institute of Marine Sciences at UCSC for 30+ years. His research focused on krill population dynamics and trophic interactions within the California Current Ecosystem. He currently is working on 20+ years of accumulated data and teaches general ecology/evolution and invertebrate zoology (his signature course) at University of California at Santa Cruz.
